Salvation and Eternal Life are only found in Jesus Christ:

 

bullet[God has said that all have sinned, and Sin separated man from God]:

(Rom 3:23) "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

bullet[Sin is imputed to all mankind]:

(Rom 5:12a) "Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world,"

bullet[Man’s sin created a barrier for eternal separation, spiritual death]:

(Rom. 5:12b) "and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that (reason) all have sinned:"

(Rom 6:23a) "For the wages of sin is death;"

bullet[Even if we think we have not sinned, because of one man’s sin we are still under the penalty of death]:

(1 Cor 15:22) "For as in Adam all die,"

bullet[The word “die” means go to hell, except God did not create Hell for man, but for Satan and his fallen angels]:

(Mat 8:12) "But the children [fallen angels, and the unsaved] of the kingdom [Satan’s world] shall be cast out into outer darkness [which is hell]: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

bullet[God wants man to spend eternity with Him]

(John 14:2) "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

bullet[God loves man, and He wants to give man His Eternal Life]

(John 3:16) "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

bullet[God has made a way for any who will believe to be saved, and receive Eternal Life]

(John 3:17) "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

bullet[Man is helpless to save himself from Hell there are no works that man can do to redeem himself]:

(Titus 3:5) "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"

bullet[The sin of man cannot be forgiven by anything short of man’s faith in God’s grace]:

(Rom 3:23) "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

(Eph 2:8) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"

(Rom 11:6) "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work."

bullet[God the Son, Jesus, is man’s only answer for salvation]:

(1 John 2:2) "He (Jesus) is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."

bullet[At the Cross, Jesus had you personally in mind]:

(John 14:3) "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

bullet[God the Father wants you to be with Him in Heaven so He put all your sins on His Son]:

(2 Cor 5:21) "God [Father] made him [Jesus] who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

bullet[God does not want anyone to go to Hell. Man has to simply believe that Jesus has taken their sins upon himself, and paid the penalty for sin in their place]:

(John 3:15) "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

bullet[God only sent one person to save man from his sin: His Son]:

(Acts 4:12) "Salvation is found in 'no one else', for there is 'no other name' under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

(John 14:6) "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

bullet[So what must man do to be saved]?

(Mark 11:22) "And Jesus answering saith unto them, 'Have faith (believe and trust ) in God.'"

(Rom 10:17) "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

(Acts 16:30b) "what must I do to be saved?"

bullet[Have faith, which means: “believe” and “trust” God]:

(Romans 10:13) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (believe) shall be saved."

(Mat 21:21b) "Jesus answered and said unto them, 'Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith (believe), and doubt not (trust),'"

bullet[Salvation is not by works of man, but by God’s grace and man receives salvation by faith: Salvation comes by hearing the Gospel, the good news of Jesus, which is the grace of God. And by hearing, comes man’s faith. And by your faith (belief), you are saved].

Salvation is God’s grace to man by faith in Christ, nothing more - faith alone, in Christ alone. Sin is no longer the issue. The issue is: “Do you believe?”

bullet[God’s warning]:

(John 3:18) "He that believeth on him (Christ) is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

A believer’s prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father I believe; I am helpless, there is nothing I can do to save myself; I believe you so loved me that you sent your only Son, Jesus, to take my sins upon Himself. I believe at the Cross you judged your Son, Jesus, for my sins. I believe that Jesus took the penalty for my sins, which was death. I believe you are satisfied with His sacrifice and by my faith I receive your grace, and by faith I am forgiven.

I believe by faith in your Word, I am saved from the penalty of Death, that by the grace you gave me through your Son, Jesus, I will never see Death. Though I may die physically, I will live forever. I believe by my faith in your grace I am forgiven and saved. Thank you God for your Son, so great a gift of grace.

In Jesus' name I pray. "

 

You are not saved because you prayed this prayer, you are saved because you had faith and believed God;

(Eph 2:8) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God"
